Course Outline

This course applies to workers with supervisory responsibilities for implementing and monitoring the organisation’s WHS policies, procedures and programs in a work area.

It applies to individuals with a broad knowledge of WHS policies who contribute well-developed skills in creating solutions to unpredictable problems through analysis and evaluation of information from a variety of sources. These workers provide supervision and guidance to others and have limited responsibility for the output of others.

Learning Outcomes

At the completion of the program participants should be able to:

  • Apply management principles that are able to increase productivity at the operational level
  • Translate management concepts into workplace action plans
  • Improve workplace safety
  • Improve team performance and facilitate change

Participants who satisfactorily complete all the units from the Certificate IV in Front Line Management will be awarded the Certificate  (Certificate IV in Front Line Management BSB40812) and 100CPD Points.

Completion of any of the units within the Certificate will result in a Statement of Attainment.
